Widford Parish Youth Ministries
Youth Group
We are a small group of mixed ages and enjoy games and discussions together, we are currently alternating socials with Bible-based discussions.
We meet in Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturdays 7pm-8:30pm!
In May 2021 we had a campfire evening, led by Colin who is a Scout Leader! We made s'mores and cooked potatoes and chocolate bananas on the fire! We also sung some campfire songs :)
We have recently hosted a Quiz Night (which we planned via zoom during lockdown!) for the Parish to raise funds for our next Youth Adventure Day! (In 2019 we went to Layer Marney Towers outdoor centre and had fun raft building and crate stacking!)
In the Summer of 2021, we went "champing" in Cambridge!
Champing is camping overnight in a church owned by the Churches Conservation Trust!
We had a great time doing a treasure hunt in Cambridge city centre, going to Xtreme360 (jump street), visiting a windmill museum, and star gazing at night!

Messy Church
We usually meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month (10am-12pm) in Church of the Holy Spirit and the Parish centre. Upcoming dates:

Homework Club
Meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15pm-5pm (during term time)
In the Westland's Lounge in Church of the Holy Spirit
For children in school years 5-9.
Bring your homework with you! Snacks provided. :)
Craft Club
Meets on Fridays 3:30-4:30pm (during term time)
In Widford Parish Centre
For children in school years 3-6
Painting, clay, ceramics, tye dye, sewing, slime, wooden crafts......!
Cost: £2 per child
