Ministries

Here in Widford Parish we beleive that God calls many poeple to do his work and hear his voice (Ephesians 4: 11-12). We offer a number of ministries for groups of all ages. Below is a list of them and the people that lead them. If you feel that we can help you in any matter and you would like to attend then please contact the Parish Office for more details or simply come along.

  • Wednesday Fellowship - Pam Myall
  • Lunch Club - Shelia Schofield
  • Messy Church - Stacy-Marie Ellis
  • Widford Waddlers - Jane Wiseman
  • Bible Trek - Pam Myall and Keith Schofield
  • Administration Team - Bob Wiseman, Barbara Oxlade, Jess Wiseman, Shirley Deering, Valerie Hayward and Barbara Jones.
  • Eco Church St Mary's - Jess Wiseman
  • Eco Church CHS - Tammy Squirrell

We also have a number of weekly activities that run in the Parish which are organised by congregation members, that you are more than welcome to come along to:

  • 3rd MONDAY OF THE MONTH - Prayer Meeting (7:30pm) @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive
  • WEDNESDAY - Parish Prayers (9:15am-9:45am) @ Church of the Holy Spirit, Forest Drive
  • 1st Wednesday of each month - Bereavement Friendship Group@ CHS from 10am - noon
  • WEDNESDAY - Lunch Club (1pm-2pm) @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive (£2 fee)                                                           - Wednesday Fellowship (2:15pm-4pm) @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive
  • THURSDAY - Widford Waddlers (10am-12 noon) @ Widford Village Hall, Widford Road (Hall Contact number 01245 268068)
  • FRIDAYS- Craft Club (3:30pm-4:30pm) For primary school age @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive
  • FRIDAYS - Youth Group (7pm-8.30pm) @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive
  • Every 3rd SATURDAY OF THE MONTH - Messy Church   (10:00am - 12:00pm) @ Widford Parish Centre, Forest Drive
  • 2nd SATURDAY OF THE MONTH - Come and Play for deaf children and their families @ CHS and the Parish Centre, Forest Drive
